Neat Brands Raises $2 Million in Seed Round Funding

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – November 15, 2015 — Neat Brands, the eCommerce company focused on selling and distributing products based on new and emerging technologies, announced today the closing of $2 million in seed round funding. The company plans to use the funding to build out the core eCommerce operations and marketing teams in Los Angeles and acquire an eCommerce business in the commercial drone and UAV industry.  The seed financing was provided personally by Mike Zaya – Neat Brands’ CEO, Founder and angel investor.

Neat Brands invests in niche eCommerce businesses selling unique products based on emerging technologies. By becoming part of the Neat Brands portfolio, smaller niche eCommerce companies can leverage operational scale, marketing experience and technology capabilities to get their products in front of millions of prospective buyers. Benefits can include purchasing larger amounts of inventory at lower costs, investing in nationwide advertising campaigns, and migrating to a stable and advanced eCommerce platform.

“The core Neat Brands team enables founders to focus on growing the business instead of being bogged down with operational, administrative or technology issues,” said Mike Zaya, CEO and Founder of Neat Brands. “We’re here to support our eCommerce companies with not only investment, but also experience and scale.”

Neat Brands is currently in negotiations with several commercial drone and UAV companies and expects to announce the close of their first acquisition before the end of the month.

“We’ve done our research and we believe the commercial drone industry is about to take off,” shared Sam Nam, CMO of Neat Brands. “The industrial applications for drones are really endless. Not only are drones capable of saving time and money, but also lives.”
